====== Training Programs ====== The Chulabhorn Research Institute places a strong emphasis on capacity building for human resource development and provides a wide range of training programs in specialized areas. Each program is designed for specific target groups e.g. scientists, academics, trainers, government officials, industrial personnel and, in some cases, for the general public. Among CRI’s current training programs are the Training Program in Environmental Toxicology and Chemical Safety and a series of advanced training programs in Chemistry and Biosciences. * [[academic:training:env_tox|Environmental Toxicology and Chemical Safety Program:]] This program was operated by International Center for Environmental Health and Toxicology (ICEHT). * [[academic:training:chem_science|Chemistry Program:]] This program places particular emphasis on organic chemistry including organic synthesis, natural products and some aspects of medicinal chemistry. Leading international experts have been invited to our special seminars and training courses to provide updates on recent advances in the above disciplines. The program has brought together chemists from national universities and governmental agencies. * [[academic:training:bioscience|Bioscience Program:]] This multidisciplinary program covers specialized areas in biomedical science such as cancer and infectious diseases. Some of the activities in this program have been organized in collaboration with leading institutes and international organizations, for example, International Vaccine Institute (IVI), National Cancer Institute (NCI), USA.
