====== HRH Princess Chulabhorn visited Poland (8-19 May 2009)======

Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, paid a royal visit to the Republic of Poland at the invitation of the vice-rector for research and international relations of Jagiellonian University and the rector of the Medical University of Gdansk between 8 and 19 May 2009. \\

During the visit to Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Her Royal Highness gave a brief lecture on the activities, projects and research works of the Chulabhorn Research Institute. Her Royal Highness was then briefed on activities and research works of the faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology and observed the laboratory of plant physiology and cell biophysics. While visiting the Medical University of Gdansk, Her Royal Highness was briefed on the activities of the faculty of Biotechnology and faculty of Oncology and observed both faculties' laboratories with a view to future cooperation. \\
