====== HRH Princess Chulabhorn visited Spain and Portugal (9-25 July 2009) ======

Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, paid a royal visit to the Kingdom of Spain and the Portuguese Republic from 9 to 17 July 2009 and from 17 to 25 July 2009, respectively.\\

During the visit to the Kingdom of Spain, Her Royal Highness met with Crown Prince Felipe and his spouse. In addition, Her Royal Highness also visited important cancer research institutions in Spain, including the Spanish national cancer research center and the MD Anderson cancer center in Spain.\\

During the visit to the Portuguese Republic, Her Royal Highness attended the 6<sup>th</sup> European Conference on [[http://www.cimar.org/6ECMNP/|Marine Natural Products]] under the topic "Marine Natural Products as an inspiration for Drug Discovery" in Porto. Furthermore, Her Royal Highness gave a lecture on the topic.\\
