====== HRH Princess Chulabhorn Visited the State of Israel (May 13-20, 2011)======

Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, visited the State of Israel on May 13-20, 2011.

During the visit Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn visited the Rambam Hospital in Haifa to observe the scientific research development and cancer treatment, and to sign an agreement that would mark the cooperation in cancer research between Chulabhorn Hospital and the Rambam Medical Center.  Later, in Jerusalem, Her Royal Highness met with Mr. Simon Perez, President of Israel.

The Rambam Medical Center is Northern Israel’s largest hospital.  It has a worldwide reputation in the treatment of a number of different types of cancer.  The Hospital’s Oncology Institute is a multi-disciplinary center for cancer treatment and support services.  The Institute has been actively participating in leading research projects in the field of cancer.

Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn travelled on EI AI Israel Airlines Flight  LY 082, departing from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Sumut Prakan Province on Friday 13, May 2011, at 00.10 am or during the night of Thursday, May 12, 2011.  She returned by the same airline on Flight LY 081, and arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Friday 20, May 2011, at 14.20 hours.
