At the 55<sup>th</sup> International Congress and Annual Meeting of the Society for Medicinal Plant held at the the Karl Franzens University of Graz in September 2007, Professor Dr. HRH Princess Chulabhorn gave the opening lecture of the Congress on the topic of Research in Bioactive Natural Products: A Journey of a Thai Scientist, and received the golden honour ring of the Karl Franzens University of Graz for her role in public life and as a researcher with  outstanding scientific achievements.  <newcolumn> <newcolumn>{{:president:award:golden_honour_ring.jpg|}}</columns>
