Office of Information Technology

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) delivers information technology services for Chulabhorn Research Institute, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, and Chulabhorn Hospital. Three specialized OIT departments and a section carry out these responsibilities according to the office’s vision and mission.

The department of computer system and network management operates the IT infrastructure, which includes hardware such as network equipments and computer servers, and software such as computer and network monitoring tools and virtualization software. The department provides Internet services for staff and guests. These services include LAN line and wireless internet accounts, email accounts, VPN accounts, time synchronization service, and an automatic backup system.

The department of electronic services analysis and development supports the use of information technology and organizes IT human resource development of the institute. The department develops and maintains several internal databases, applications and websites. The department also provides several IT training courses, organizes in-trend IT seminars and publishes IT bulletins for staff and researchers.

The department of computer services and maintenance manages all IT related problems. The department has a call center for receiving requests, has a team of IT specialists for troubleshooting and employs systematic communication with other teams to resolve the problems.

The general administration section is responsible for administrative tasks of the office. The section communicates with the other offices and helps the three departments achieve their objectives and duties.

สำนักเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเป็นหน่วยงานที่ให้บริการ ด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสารแก่หน่วยงานต่างๆภายใต้สังกัดมูลนิธิจุฬาภรณ์ บริการที่ให้ในปัจจุบันได้แก่

1. บริการการใช้งานระบบคอมพิวเตอร์และเครือข่าย
   ให้บริการการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตและอินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สาย ระบบอีเมล และบริการอื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับระบบอินเทอร์เน็ต, ปรับปรุงระบบอินเทอร์เน็ตให้มีความปลอดภัย, มีเสถียรภาพ และมีความทันสมัยเหมาะสมกับการใช้งานในปัจจุบัน
2. บริการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการบริหาร วางแผน และดำเนินการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศ
   เพื่อช่วยในด้านการบริหารงาน โดยประสานการดำเนินงานกับผู้ใช้ของหน่วยงานต่างๆ
3. บริการการใช้ห้องบริการคอมพิวเตอร์
   จัดบริการการใช้บริการคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อสนับสนุนการวิจัย และบริการการใช้เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์สำหรับจัดอบรม
4. บริการวิชาการ
   จัดบริการฝึกอบรมความรู้และทักษะการใช้งานคอมพิวเตอร์ให้แก่บุคลากรของ สถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ รวมถึงการให้คำแนะนำปรึกษาด้านการใช้งานระบบคอมพิวเตอร์และเครือข่าย
5. บริการซ่อมคอมพิวเตอร์ และอุปกรณ์ต่อพ่วง
   บริการซ่อมคอมพิวเตอร์และอุปกรณ์ต่อพ่วง ได้แก่เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ตั้งโต๊ะ, เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์โน้ตบุ๊ก, เครื่องพิมพ์, เครื่องสแกนเนอร์ รวมถึงแก้ปัญหาการใช้งานคอมพิวเตอร์เบื้องต้น
6. สนับสนุนงานวิจัยและงานอื่นๆ
   บริการระบบสำรองข้อมูล จัดบริการระบบคอมพิวเตอร์และอุปกรณ์ พร้อมการให้คำแนะนำเพื่อสนับสนุน ภารกิจด้านการวิจัย รวมถึงการให้บริการยืม ติดตั้ง บำรุงรักษาระบบคอมพิวเตอร์และอุปกรณ์เพื่อการใช้งานตามภารกิจของสถาบันฯ
