HRH Princess Chulabhorn Visited Hawaii, U.S.A. (December 8-17, 2011)
Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, visited Hawaii, the United States of America, from December 8 to 17, 2011. During the visit Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn participated in the Conference of the 50th Anniversary of the Phytochemical Society of North America (PSNA2011), and delivered a lecture on “Natural Products with Biological Activities from Thai Bioresources”, at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, Hawaii. The Conference was co-hosted by the College of Pharmacy, University of Hawaii at Hilo. The Phytochemical Society of North America is a scientific organization with an interest in phytochemistry and the role of plant substances in related fields. The PSNA meetings provide participants with exposure to the cutting-edge research of prominent international scientists, and a forum for the exchange of information and ideas. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn departed on Korean Air Flight KE654, from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Sumut Prakan Province on Thursday 8, December 2011, at 00.15 hours. She returned by the same airline on Flight KE653, and arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Saturday 17, December 2011, at 22.55 hours.
