Chemical Waste
At CRI, chemical waste is stored in lab before pick up and disposal by incineration method.
Chemical waste is regularly picked up by an outsourced company, Recycle Engineering link.

Procedure for chemical waste pick up
- Chemical waste should be stored in appropriate container with waste labeling.
- One week prior to the pick up day, Laboratory Safety Representative (LSR) informs safety officer by phone, email, or in person of the approximate amount of waste to be picked up. This information is for the preparation of transportation.
- On the day of pick up, safety officer will assist the pick up company to each laboratory or to the pick up point.
Biological Waste
Biological waste at CRI are picked up and disposed by incineration method. Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) picks up biological waste at CRI every Tuesday and Wednesday. Currently, BMA contracts Krungthep Thanakom Co., Ltd. for the biological waste collection and disposal.

LSR contacts safety officer when laboratory would like to have biological waste to be picked up.
