Chulabhorn Pattana IX Village used
to be known as Rattanakiti 1 Village. It is
located in Tarnto, Yala. The area of this
village is 4,444 ha. Most the villages are ExMPLA of Chinese ethnic with total number of
population of 219 from 142 families.
Geographically, this village is located in a tropical rainforest near a waterfall. The rainforest remains intact in its original form, serving as an invaluable source of biodiversity with a vast array of plant and animal species. The villagers are familiar with the forest, they are encouraged to protect and conserve the forest. Moreover, they were trained about sustainable agricultural system.
